
About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Internal Sales Manager to actively drive sales growth across our MEWP, plant, tool, and skip hire services.This is not just an order-processing role — you will be responsible for proactively generating revenue, reactivating dormant accounts, upselling services, and supporting the wider sales team to maximise every opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively generate new business through outbound calls and lead follow-ups.
- Convert inbound enquiries into confirmed hires and sales.
- Identify upselling opportunities across all hire divisions.
- Reactivate lapsed and dormant customer accounts.
- Build strong relationships with contractors, buyers, and site managers.
- Work closely with external sales to maximise account potential.
- Prepare and follow up quotations to secure orders.
- Track pipeline activity and performance using CRM systems.
- Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Requirements
- Experience in internal sales or telesales.
- Strong closing skills and a proactive sales mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial awareness and confidence negotiating pricing.
